Presenter: Jennifer Finch, LPC, NCC, CBCT®, Certified Meditation Instructor, was a practicing licensed professional therapist for almost two decades prior to founding Be Here Now Mindfulness, LLC. She has extensive training in crisis counseling, addictions, and trauma-based therapy. Six years ago, she began a private practice, incorporating meditation, mindfulness and compassion treatment modalities as her therapy of choice. She is a Certified CBCT® Instructor (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training®) through Emory University's Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion Based Ethics.

OBJECTIVE of the Training:

  • Analytical mental exercises to progressively foster compassion through a process
  • Compassion is a trait that can be developed and expanded
  • Aim: reduce the negative implications of prolonged stress and reduce the risk of burnout and staff turnover
