Presenter: David Markwell PhD, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS, CART, EAS-C, Clinical Supervision Chair is a licensed and board certified Professional Counselor and clinical supervisor in Georgia and Alabama. He has offices in Marietta GA and McCaysville GA. He is a Mental health consultant for Fetch Your News, the online news show serving North Georgia, a periodic guest on the Atlanta morning radio show "Bailey and Southside" (Rock 100.5), and was awarded the 2017 George C. Podein Counselor of the Year by the LPCA of Georgia.

OBJECTIVES of the Training:

  • Identify basic elements needed in tele-supervision and review the emergence of technological modes.
  • Examine the ethics of tele-mental health and the beginnings of telehealth.
  • Observe the laws and policies regarding tele-health.
  • Meets the licensing board rule 135-11 TeleMental Health section requiring Supervisors to have 3 extra CE hours after completing the 6 CE hours all licensees are required to take.
